UNESCO World Natural Heritage, Wadden Sea Visitor Center

Cuxhaven, Germany
2015 with TheGreenEyl

The Wadden Sea Visitor Center in Cuxhaven got a new home directly at the water front. Holzer Kobler Architekturen designed a modern building with a wood and glass construction and a new exhibition inside.

In cooperation with TheGreenEyl a wittingly reduced media concept has been developed for this permanent exhibition. Throughout the whole exhibition media exhibits provide information about the tide and life in the wadden sea. Central exhibit is an interactive audio installation where visitors can listen to voices of animals in the wadden sea.
