UNIVERSAL MUSIC Berlin

Berlin, Germany
2015 with TheGreenEyl

As part of the Universal Music foyer redesign, studio TheGreenEyl was asked to realize their audiovisual representation. Different eye catching forms aside of well established screen formats are used to present activities, data and artists within Universals world of music.

Long beams of flip-dot displays stretch above the heads of visitors. Twitter activities of selected artists bring these displays to life with random text animations.

A video wall consisting of square segments puts the focus on music charts and compares this data with real world numbers. Instagram streams of the artists complement these visualizations.

In addition, record covers are presented in showcases with LED tunnel effects and music can be experienced on headphones in seating areas. Music videos on tiny studio TVs with a nostalgic touch, provide an insight into past music centuries on the “Wall of Fame”.
